ED-WYN

Responds to the compounded effects of race, gender, class, and migration status that shape the lived experiences of ethnically diverse women in Hong Kong and beyond.

01 Problem

Ethnically diverse women and girls face layered discrimination shaped by race, gender, class, and migration. These intersecting barriers limit their expression, safety, and access to opportunity.

02 Approach

ED-WYN fosters community through storytelling, creative arts, and empowerment workshops. It creates safe spaces where girls can share, reflect, and build collective strength.

03 Solution

By centering their voices and supporting advocacy, ED-WYN nurtures confident, self-defined leaders. Its partnerships and campaigns challenge stereotypes and inspire systemic change.

About the Initiative

ED-WYN is a space for young women and girls from diverse ethnic backgrounds to gather, reflect, and resist. It responds to the compounded effects of race, gender, class, and migration status that shape the lived experiences of ethnically diverse women in Hong Kong and beyond.
