HK-STN

Facilitates peer-to-peer learning and empowers teachers to reimagine classroom practices that reflect diversity, belonging, and intersectional justice.

01 Problem

Teachers in Hong Kong face systemic challenges in addressing discrimination and bias within traditional school structures. These issues often go unexamined, impacting both educators and marginalized students.

02 Approach

HK-STN fosters collaborative learning through monthly practice circles and peer exchange. By highlighting real classroom experiences, it equips teachers to critically reflect and grow together.

03 Solution

The network co-creates inclusive teaching toolkits and partners with schools for on-ground implementation. Its work influences training, policy, and everyday pedagogy to create equitable learning environments.

About the Initiative

The HK School Teachers Network is a platform for frontline educators to collectively confront systemic discrimination within the school system. It facilitates peer-to-peer learning and empowers teachers to reimagine classroom practices that reflect diversity, belonging, and intersectional justice.
